QUICK USER GUIDE FOR SINGLE LINE LIMO DRIVER SIGN
Congratulations on your purchase of Limo Driver Sign (LDS). LDS is a portable LED display that can display your messages wherever you go. This guide provides information and instructions for the LDS. It includes the following:-

GETTING STARTED
Check your LDS package and verify installation requirements before you begin the installation.
WHAT'S IN THE BOX
Review the following list to make sure you have received all the necessary items to install and use your LDS:

USING YOUR LDS
Note: A stands for the upper button. B stands for the lower button.
Turn on power to enter DISPLAY mode. LDS displays your last message.
Press A to switch between SPEED and INPUT mode. LDS displays SPEED or INPUT.
In SPEED mode, press B to enter speed selection mode then press A to change speed - 0 (fastest) to 9 (slowest). Press B to store your selection and return to DISPLAY mode.
In INPUT mode, press B to enter editing mode; press A to scroll through characters followed by B to confirm your selection and move onto next character.
TIPS
Order of characters:- Capitals, lower case, numbers, space, symbols.
In each mode if there is no operation for 8 seconds LDS automatically returns to DISPLAY mode.
In editing mode, if no content is input, LDS will return to DISPLAY mode with the message BLANK.
In editing mode, a long press of B will delete the last character.
After editing, add an extra character to your message, usually capital A and then wait 8 seconds. Your message will then scroll (minus the additional character!).
USING THE LDS WITH A COMPUTER
Load the mini CD-ROM into your CD drive.
Select folder on CD according to your PC's operating system (XP or Vista).
Run the .exe file to install the USB driver.
Connect the LDS to your PC using the USB cable and power on the LDS.
Windows should automatically detect the LDS and finish set-up.
USING THE EDITING SOFTWARE
Having connected the LDS to your PC & turned on the LDS, run HoldingSign application from the CD (this can be copied to your PC for future use).
Type in your message in the LINE field. Adjust the SPEED with the slide bar.
Click DOWN to send your message to LDS.
RECHARGING YOUR LDS
The LDS can be recharged with either the mains or in-car chargers. Plug into either your home's mains socket or your car's 12V outlet socket. The other end of the lead plugs into the LDS' USB port. Three hours of charging will let the LDS work constantly for up to six hours.
WARNINGS
Store this equipment out of reach of children and infants.
Avoid dropping or subjecting the LDS to severe impacts.
Stop operating the equipment immediately if it emits smoke or noxious fumes.
Do not handle the power cords if your hands are wet.
Do not allow the equipment to come into contact with, or become immersed in, water or other liquids. If the exterior comes into contact with liquids or salt air, wipe it dry with a soft, absorbent cloth.
